Best tacos I had in Jacksonville, but the salsa they're getting into the beginning with the chips needs some love. The salsa packed any texture variance or taste and almost drove me out before I ordered, but the food was good worth the stay and she brought some salsa that had some warmth that was appreciated. read moreCerro Mexican Restaurant in Jacksonville offers faster service than most, with the ability to make changes to your order. The ambiance is plain but clean, and while the food presentation is okay, the taste is quite delicious. Many customers rave about the tacos, with some recommending trying the burritos next time. The salsa served with chips could use some improvement, but overall the food is fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The California burrito is a standout, reminiscent of those found on the West Coast. The friendly service and delicious food make Cerro a must-visit for Mexican cuisine lovers in Jacksonville.
