Yakitori House - Jacksonville

The service was excellent! I ordered the tonkatsu ramen along with a side of chicken katsu, and it was absolutely delicious! I will definitely return to this restaurant.

Yakitori is a delightful little restaurant that has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. My family and I enjoyed the salmon, dragon roll, and octopus sushi, along with some miso soup and drinks. Its location next to a Japanese market makes it an excellent spot to discover. I highly recommend this place for its tasty food, courteous and attentive service, and reasonable prices. It’s definitely a thumbs up!

We shared some sushi, savored taco rice, and sampled unadon (unagi donburi) served with miso soup. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the taco rice was packed with flavor. Although the unagi was charred instead of grilled, it was still very enjoyable. The staff were polite, prompt, and attentive during our entire visit. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely come back!

I do have a couple of critiques, particularly regarding the presentation of the sushi bento box. The spicy mayo seemed to be hastily applied to the shrimp tempura roll, but that didn’t detract from the taste at all. Additionally, having lived in Okinawa, our expectations for ramen are quite high, and while the mega spicy ramen didn't quite meet those standards, we might still explore trying other ramen options on our next visit. Overall, the food and service were fantastic!

This is the best Japanese food in the area! I can't wait to try everything on the menu. The flavors truly take me back to my time in Japan. Everything I had was fantastic. We will definitely be returning!
