Nestled by the river, this coffee shop offers a cozy atmosphere and decent brews, making it an ideal spot for breakfast or studying. While many patrons rave about the smoothness of their drinks and warm, fresh pastries, some recent experiences have raised concerns. Burnt and cold dishes have disappointed customers, leaving them questioning quality control. Additionally, issues like flies in the food case could deter potential visitors. Nevertheless, for those craving a comfortable setting and good coffee, it still holds promise, with many willing to overlook minor flaws for an enjoyable experience.

Really great experience! The coffee was smooth and not overly sweet—I had the caramel de leche. I truly enjoyed the river view from the terrace. This will likely become my go-to weekend study spot! View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Port City Java:
Not a terrible coffee spot. A few things I wasn?t loving, one being the flies in the food case.. such a turn off. Secondly, crushed ice in an iced coffee drink isn?t a great choice imo.. it?s melts SO fast and dilutes the drink faster. I went once andhaven?t gone back simply because I can find better coffee at some other local places. The Milk Road has been my favorite so far. View all feedback.
I have been getting coffee from this place for the past 2 years. Today was my first time eating in, and I really enjoyed the setup. I sat down to work on school assignments and ended up staying for about 2.30 hours. I was worried they might ask me to leave, but it was quite empty and thankfully, I was not disturbed. It's a great spot to enjoy breakfast and get some work done.

Great little hole in the wall coffee shop with great tasting coffee and fresh baked foods. Very comfortable and cozy inside! Highly recommend checking this place out!
I didn't catch the baristas name but he was so fun and helpful. He took the time to explain the different blends they have. I ended up choosing Black mountain blend it was very good. I even took home a bag of Black mountain beans and have been enjoyingand great cup of coffee each morning.
