What Mary Breyer doesn't like about Port City Java:
Honestly I come here often and always give the opportunity to redeem the last mistake but this has been my most disappointing visit. Burnt waffle that taste BURNT! Why serve something like this when you know it?s no good. Most people are on the way to work so now we get stuck with no breakfast cause the food is burnt and/or cold. I always get the spinach ricotta and they are never warm/hot. How could a company expect... View all feedback.
Although this small coffee shop may not seem impressive from the outside, its interior is charming and offers delicious drinks. It's a delightful spot to unwind and enjoy the cozy atmosphere for an hour or so. I highly recommend trying the strawberry mango smoothie - it is perfectly balanced between sweet and tangy flavors.
I didn't catch the barista's name, but they were so fun and helpful. They took the time to explain the different blends they had. I ended up choosing the Black Mountain blend, and it was very good. I even took home a bag of Black Mountain beans and have been enjoying a great cup of coffee each morning.
I have been getting coffee from this place for the past 2 years. Today was my first time eating in, and I really enjoyed the setup. I sat down to work on school assignments and ended up staying for about 2.30 hours. I was worried they might ask me to leave, but it was quite empty and thankfully, I was not disturbed. It's a great spot to enjoy breakfast and get some work done.
Not a terrible coffee spot. A few things I wasn?t loving, one being the flies in the food case.. such a turn off. Secondly, crushed ice in an iced coffee drink isn?t a great choice imo.. it?s melts SO fast and dilutes the drink faster. I went once and haven?t gone back simply because I can find better coffee at some other local places. The Milk Road has been my favorite so far.
Cute and quiet place. Nice selection of drinks and food. Loved the mocha chino but wished my apricot tea had more syrup. Didn?t care for the chicken in my wrap so I think I?ll stick to the vegetarian option for sure. Muffin was good. Would come again.
