Last year visited. the mood was cold. the food was fantastic! I ordered her famous wings together with her sausage pizza, nothing to fantasize. in any case a great place for lunch or dinner. will return to near future.
We've been for happy hour many times. Never have we been let down. Everything we've ever tried is wonderful. Great pizza, gyros and you can't forget the awesome feta dressing to dip! Staff is fun! Great hang out place. I highly recommend!!!
Ordered braised lamb gyro w side salad and drink through the website. Showed up on time for curbside service. I also pre-tipped since I requested curbside. The lamb wasn’t hot or even warm. The pita wasn’t warmed. So it also wasn’t as soft as it could have been. There wasn’t an option to pick a dressing for side salad online, it was a dry salad with only the juices from the olives and tomatoes. I wasn’t provided with silverware or napkins. When I arrived I had to call several times before anyone could answer. It rolls to voicemail after 3 rings. I hadn’t ordered from here in over a year. I’ve had better experiences in the past.
Visited last year. The vibe was chill. Food was fantabulous! I ordered their famous wings along with their sausage pizza, nothing too fancy. Definitely a great place for lunch or dinner. Will return in the near future.
The place was super cute and the food was very good. However the service was absolutely terrible. I paid $4 for a strawberry frozen lemonade and they brought my cup only half full of drink. For $4?? That’s ridiculous. My husband specifically asked for no cheese on his wrap because he can’t eat it and they brought his food out with cheese anyway. He went to tell them about the mistake and he waited for over half an hour for his food. The restaurant is quiet small to accommodate for all the business it gets. There was one nice male waiter, that’s about it. Overall terrible service.
Aplos Restaurant offers a charming ambiance and a menu filled with Mediterranean favorites, including crave-worthy pizzas and gyros, making it a preferred choice for many diners. Guests often rave about the flavor of the food, particularly the Supreme pizza and rotisserie chicken. However, service inconsistencies plague the overall experience. Patrons express frustration over incomplete orders, slow service, and a lack of attention to requests. While happy hour specials are a draw, the staff's communication and responsiveness need improvement. Despite these issues, the delightful food and inviting outdoor seating continue to attract returning customers.

?absolutely wonderful!? In the words of my boyfriend. All together we ordered the steak gyro, regular gyro, wings, redfish plate and a frozen strawberry lemonade. The best item was the steak gyro! Hands down, never had anything like it! It was so complexand flavorful. Everything was fresh, except for the redfish. Will be returning.
They have a great Artichoke Pizza in the vegetarian options. Also, 3-6 is happy hours, making it a really affordable place with nice ambience to hangout. It's becoming a regular for me and my wife after her work. My wife likes their frozen yogurt withdifferent topping options as well.
To Jordan Rohan?s review. I do have to say Aplos is a kid friendly environment. There is a courtyard that is a community space and if you decide to sit in that area, that?s your choice. Aplos is not responsible for the children that are running around. Also, It?s Christmas and kids and schools are having parties. I do know the managers offered to move your table inside or onthe patio where they do have control over the noise but if you choose to sit in the courtyard and there are children and thatruffles your feathers then maybe aplos is just not the place for you. It?s s family friendly establishment. There are plentyof places in highland village where you can get a table away from activity. There will always be kids in the courtyard, Aplosemployees are not responsible for that. I was there tonight and it was no different than on a Friday or Saturday night whenkids are running around having fun while their parents get to do the same.
The pizza is craveable, and I'm not a huge pizza fan (the Supreme). The sauce is so very good and the crust is not too thick. It's one of the few pizza crusts I will eat (rather than picking off the toppings). Whenever I'm visiting my sister, a visit toAplos is a must. The wings are also wonderful as is the gyro (beef lamb). The rotisserie chicken is another favorite.Perfectly cooked- the flavor is all the way through, crisp skin-not at all dry. We usually sit outside in the courtyard area. It's a very nice setting. Sweet tea is great and the service is quick. Very much a favorite.
