This restaurant is excellent! I was in the city for work and decided to give it a try based on the reviews. The Scarlet croquettes were phenomenal - so flavorful! Despite being on the small plates menu, the portion size was very generous and came with delicious orzo pasta. It was more than enough to make a full meal. I also tried the prosciutto pizzeta, which was excellent. They did not skimp on the prosciutto! I cho... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about The Manship:
My fiance and me bragged back home about our first experience here. We drove from Louisiana, so that our family could experience this place with us. The oysters that prompted the trip came out extremely underdone. When we spoke with the server about them being different from our previous visit, she simply replied that thats how they are prepared She dismissed our complaint and didn't offer to remove them from our tic... The food was really good but the service was terrible. I ate her a while ago and it was my first time. My waitress ,Dorothy, had an attitude the entire time. It was like she knew me but I’ve never met her before. I ate here with my sister and Dorothy waspleasant to her but rude to me. She didn’t greet me or look at me. I placed my cup at the end of the table so she could fillit but she only filled my sister’s cup and then walked off. I don’t know what the problem was but she’s an older woman soI was very respectful. The food was really good, so I will return and hopefully have a better experience.
Weekday lunch, first time here. Very busy dining room on a wait so I opted for counter service at the bar. Only me and one other guest at the bar but service was still on the slow side. However, the food was outstanding and the ambiance incredible. I would definitely go back!
Great place. Sat at the bar. The bartender was freindly and attentive even though they were quite busy. Extensive whiskey list, found one I've been looking to try for a few years and one my girl and I have been searching out for almost 10. Food wasdelicious we had the oysters, duck pizza, pork chop , skirt steak and 3 sides. Everything was above expectations.
Outstanding! In town for work and gave it a try off rating. Salmon croquettes are phenomenal! So flavorful and despite being on the small plate menu it’s a very generous serving accompanied by delicious orzo pasta. It’s more than enough to be a fullmeal. But I also tried the prosciutto pizzeta which was excellent. They don’t skimp on the prosciutto! I sat outside but theinterior is chic and loaded with personality. And the cherry on top was the outstanding service!
We had a difficult time finding this restaurant (ground floor of Belhaven Medical Center facing State Street). We walked in for lunch around 1:00 PM. We were immediately greeted and sat. Everyone was friendly, our server was attentive. The food wasdelicious. I had the BBQ Shrimp Grits. The grits were done perfect with Parmesan. The shrimp were fantastic and the sauce wentwell with all of it. Tom had red fish that was ok. One of the 14-year olds ordered the Margherita pizza that was super tasty andthe other had lasagna that was oh so yummy. Our server mentioned Saturday/Sunday brunch, and we enjoyed our experience so muchwe made Saturday brunch reservations before we leave town.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding! I brought a group of 12 clients for dinner and we all had a fantastic experience. From the cocktails to our meals, everything was excellent. The service was top-notch and we loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. I highly recommend this place.

The wedge salad had thick slabs of bacon, tangy tomatoes and pungent chunks of blue cheese. We shared a steak and salmon, cooked medium, moist and mouth-watering. Southern pecan pie casserole capped off my birthday dinner and Dallas-to-Destin road trip.
Great dining experience. My server took good care of me making sure I had coffee refills and getting my food out to me quickly. The Spanish home fries are always good and they came to the table right out the grease. My chicken and waffle could have been rated as excellent except the temperature of my waffle was lukewarm. But the tenders were really good!
What an amazing birthday experience for my boyfriend!! Our waitress was excellent and very caring. She answered all our questions with patience; because, we had lots of them. He ordered the Cowboye ribeye (but we were informed they were out of them, big disappointment for him). The roasted oysters are highly recommended. Comeback salad, filet mignon, catfish and shrimp linguine were simply mouth watering. The best thing yet... those desserts.. Don't skip the desserts!! You will regret it. Overall, our experience at The Manship was excellent and maybe the next time we visit they will have plenty of Cowboye ribeyes available.. because, there will be a next time!! Thanks, Manship, for making our night with his mom very, very special.
The Manship is an impeccable choice of destinations. The menu was exquisite and service both delightful and charming.

The food and drink was delicious and our server Dorothy was great. The steak kaaba was perfectly season and melt in your mouth tender.
We were quickly seated on a Friday evening. I do not like sitting at a table out in the middle right in front of the kitchen doors. Would have preferred to be seated at a booth. I didn’t ask to change seats. I think that they should ask the guest their preference before seating. Service was extremely fast and courteous. We loved our waitress. At first, I thought I was under dressed. Then we saw several folks wearing their scrubs and hoodies. (The hospital is next door. Alright then! That made the atmosphere feel a bit more relaxed and accepting. Spanish Home Fries and Boudin Balls were awesome. My husband really liked the pickled veggies. Frozen Porch Swing was good but very powerful lemon flavor. Not too strong alcohol though. Sweet tea lived up to Southern expectations. Lasagna was still boiling when served. Wonderful sauce and extremely cheesy. My husband’s lemon rotisserie chicken breast was a bit dry. (I have no idea why he ordered that. Overall, we felt that our service and food lived up to our expectations and were pleased. We got in and out fairly quickly. Had plenty of leftovers as well. Just passing through. Glad we chose the Manship Wood Fired Kitchen.

The keilsalat had thick plates made of speck, brownish tomatoes and stinging pieces of blue cheese. we shared a steak and salmon, boiled medium, moist and mouth water. southern pecan pie casserole capped by my birthday dinner and Dallas-to-destin road trip.
The manship is a perfect choice of goals. the menu was exquisite and service both charming and charming.
Went there for the rabbit ravioli but was sad to hear that it was no longer served. I tried the chicken tettrizinni but it wasn't great not horrible but nothing special. I enjoyed the wine and smoked tuna dip My BF really liked the redfish.
My mother, a friend and I went on a Friday night was first time for all of us and the experience was good. The server went out of his way to get my Mom (who has a lot of food allergies) a vegetable plate which is actually in the lunch menu. Margarita was fantastic. We will go back
