Description

AKA Sushi has garnered mixed reviews, reflecting varied customer experiences over time. While some diners praise the restaurant for its aesthetically pleasing ambiance and attentive staff, concerns have arisen regarding the quality and flavor of the sushi, especially following price increases post-renovation. Complaints about cleanliness and service inconsistencies have also surfaced, impacting overall dining satisfaction. Yet, many patrons still celebrate the freshness of the sushi, particularly the sashimi and nigiri. With its appealing atmosphere and extensive menu, AKA Sushi continues to attract patrons, despite the challenges highlighted by some regulars.

Stopped in for lunch. The Caterpillar II was excellent and paired well with some hot green tea. Nice, quiet atmosphere. I'll definitely be back! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice atmosphere with an extensive sushi menu. Our service was pleasant and engaging. We tried a couple of bento boxes and they were decent with plenty of food. The chicken and rice and brill's shalom were both good. The miso soup was cool and the ginger salad a little watery. Looked like they had dune fancy drinks and the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. I'd stop again to try other items. Meal type: Lunch

Just moved here from metro detroit and am an avid sushi eater. The restaurant is very pretty and clean. The sushi, however, had no flavor and was very expensive for what we ordered. Unfortunately we probably won't be back. Not to mention the absolute nightmare of a parking lot that is shared with Starbucks. Almost impossible to park here. Meal type: Lunch
