The only thing that lost a star for me was the 'happy hour ' apparent deal of a mere ¥50 off drinks! More like mildly pleased hour.. May as well not bother!

I heard they had great winter salads too. they were not available while we stayed as the cook was on holiday. good selection of whisky in addition to the beer selection (15 or so taps). English speaking staff is very friendly and fast. atmosphere is pub meets ski lodge as they may hope with a beautiful wood stove to fight the cold.

The foo... read more Great place for a hot meal and cold beer after a hard day on the snow. The local brews are fantastic and there's plenty of other beer and cider choices. The food is fantastic with a small menu done just right. The sticky wings were amazing and the burgers will send you into a food coma. Tops!!
