Amazing cafe with lovely extension surrounded by foliage. My Avo on toast came on delicious olive bread and with fantastic fresh salad. Owner bought out watermelon for all in the cafe. A wonderful find. View all feedback.
What sheepygold doesn't like about Fig Tree:
I came in here 2 or 3 months ago for a coffee and was duly impressed so brought my wife here for lunch. It was quite busy but we found a table and both tried the vegetarian lasagne which was served with an enormous and hugely varied side salad. The quality of the lasagne and salad was superb and it was great value at £8.50. The cappuccino was also excellent strong, a good kick of chocolate and not overly sweet and se... View all feedback.
What a little caffe. fresh products as deco, beautiful table on the back with views of picturesque gardens. warm, cozy, oh and eating was delish. I had lentil soup. was so rich and tasty followed by lasagne with a beautiful colorful salate (bits of granatapfel in it mmmm). they will not be disappointed.
I'm so glad I decided to take my chances because I found a hidden gem. it is literally a secret garden and it is beautiful. there are wild baptisms of bambus, grapes, olive trees, efeu, and birds happy scream. there are so many things that are pinched on this place. the owner, such a jolly mann, was ready for the day, freshly baked cakes and torts from the to popping. so many decisions!
Had a fantastic late brunch here last weekend. We were lucky to get a table, it was raining outside which was a shame as they have a lovely rest garden area that we will definitely check out on a sunny day. They'd been so busy most of the main menu was sold out but we fancied eggs anyway! We both ordered scrambled one serve with veg and one with ham. Both cane with salad (which wasn't mentioned on the menu Our tea and coffee came in large mugs. And to top it all off we got a free slice of orange tea cake. Yummy home cooked food to order, great service, cosy setting and great value! We will be heading back.
This place is new so my husband and I popped in for a early lunch the other day along with our one year old. I think this place is fantastic, the food is all very fresh and simple. There is a lovely outdoor garden area, which is very quiet considering it is just off the main roads. We had a toasted ham and vintage cheddar sandwich and it came along with a salad and fantastic grilled vegetables, which was a lot of food for the price as we had only though it would be a sandwich on it's own. We also had coffees which were very good and came along with a fresh baked biscuit. I will also point out that they could not have been nicer to our little one. When we came in they gave her a little...read more
This independent caffe is such a hidden gem that I almost reluctant to share it with a beautiful garden and winter garden (with a heating) this caffe is ideal for sunny and rainy days and has an incredible view of the sunset (see photo). the owner is a beautiful, warm and jolly man who is proud of the creation of healthy food. he is also incredibly generous with homemade cookies and healthy snacks meals are cooked fresh every day with love and carefree. always make sure to modify for allergies and food preferences, this is a great place for vegan and vegetarian (avocado and falafel baguette or lens soup are my favorite vegan options). this is my favorite café in london, it has not eaten yet...read more
