The owner and staff are genuinely beautiful people. The clientele are super interesting a cross section of musicians, film makers and writers and of course a cast of other characters. A warm welcoming environment. I know for sure they are planning to do a lot of exciting events after lock down so this is a place to watch. Places like Appestat are what make Islington and for that matter London special. Wonderful reminder of how great people can be in a time of so much anger love this place (tap the picture to hear the great music these two proper gentlemen improvised)

Otherwise, friendly staff, chill cafe and good choice of music.
