I ordered sweet po... read more This was our first time here, I like to stop at restaurants on the water. We had the walleye dinner which was very good, I do recommend that. I ordered sweet potatoe fries and was given the sidewinder fries (possibly because I merely asked what they were) and while they were good, it wasn't what I asked for. I also had to go find the server and ask for the salad that came with the dinner. The green beans that were served with the dinner were not just plain but seasoned perfectly and were great. We ordered drinks and the one that was brought to me (same server) was nothing like what we asked for. She did bring the correct drink and didn't charge for her mistake, so we were happy about that. There was a woman behind the bar that made a killer white Russian! All in all we would go back and recommend tgis place to others, just watch that your order is complete and correct.

Hung out a bit and were getting ready to leave and the wairess/cook/owner(? came in. She was cordial. No complaints with service. The food though was not good. My husband said his chicken wings were the worst he ever had. Not sure how, he gets them naked! My chili was cold and tasteless. Very disappointing. My wings weren't the best but it could have been because I opted for the Da Boathouse seasoning. Not what I expected. Probably will not come back...at least for food.
