I had a wander on the far side of the tr... read more Having missed my train I had time to kill in isernia not enough for a meal but far too much for a gelato....what to do? I had a wander on the far side of the tracks and nothing caught my eye so I started to mosey down towards the parks when I thought what the heck this cafe was a mix of girls chatting and old chaps reading the paper so.....I went for an aperol spritz in the end and was stunned to find it came with a nice aperitivo selection including toasties not flash but v tasty. Families wandered in old blokes wandered out the turnover was varied and the staff lovely. There were panini on offer (even tho it was late) and some scrumptious looking patisserie. It's not really an aperitivo bar but they did a good job all round with papers and RTL on the tv nice oh yes and it was only 3.50!
