At Eggers... read more It seems in Ischgl every hotel is trying to out do the next with the place settings or high prices or whatever and always a bit lacking on the food... At Eggerstueberl, it is just a standard place serving very good food by friendly people...at a good price. All the dishes we ordered were very well made, good taste and ... big. The service was superb, nothing to fault and overall it is just a very relaxed place to be. Will be back again.

This is a really good family-run pension that makes a limited menu for non-residents, and it is best to book before. we were told on Saturday, they cook only fo... read more This is a really good family-run pension that makes a limited menu for non-residents, and it is best to book before. we were told on Saturday, they cook only for the room. we were told about our hotel that they were closed and reopened last year, and that they were not sure how it is now. the kitchen is local, no ask, and the menu is short, but it is all fresh homemade. it is served well and cheerful by the daughter of the owner; the stem (apple and top strudel) was excellent, made by her grandmother. we finished the meal with a schnapps from her father out of larch! it was brown, slightly medical, but by far the best schnapps we had the whole week!
