The restaurant offers a pricey but exquisite dining experience, serving well-prepared dishes such as halibut and agnolotti. While the rum cake fell short, the oysters and salads impressed. Extensive wine selection. Despite some negative experiences with service including poor timeliness and attitude, standout servers like Ruth provide excellent service. The Chesapeake Room at the same location is a treasure, serving delectable dishes surrounded by a serene view. Special mention to outstanding servers like Cici and Megan. Dining here makes for an unforgettable experience.
Our party of 4 for a birthday celebration was a disappointment. The service was poor. We waited for our drinks to arrive for over 15 minutes. Getting a second round took even longer. The food was overpriced and nothing spectacular for the price. The wine list was limited and extremely expensive. The sauce on the halibut was tasteless, thick and did nothing to enhance the well prepared fish. On the plus side, the fried oysters and the salads were good.
Very well done food. Somewhat traditional dishes and flavors but prepared excellently.
Food was excellent, hot, and as ordered. Kitchen was a little slow, but server, Rose, did a good job with drinks, bread to ease the wait.
We were very pleased with the new look, the food and especially the service. Nice upgrade!
Loved the atmosphere and great service from CC the waiter. Oysters were very small but tasty. I had the catch of the Bay (Grouper) and it was delicious. My wife had the fillet and it was good but overcooked. If I had one suggestion it would be to offer more seafood options. I would have LOVED a seafood platter. Overall a nice experience.
