My family enjoyed having lunch at the Fish Hawk Oyster Bar located down the steps next to the pool. Beautiful Waterview and seafood.we ordered baskets of fried oysters, fried shrimp, and calamari. Also had several dozen raw oysters. Afterwards, we sat on the lawn in big comfortable chairs under shade trees enjoying the breeze , and views of the water and marina! View all feedback.
What John Harmon doesn't like about Fish Hawk Oyster:
Fried oysters were really small and burnt to the point of tasting burnt and dried out, worst oysters I've ever had! I didn't know if I was eating an oyster or a ball of burnt batter. View all feedback.
ABSOLUTELY NEW HERE MOST EPIC FOOD IN #NNK SPEECHLESS!!
Might just be because of the off season, or perhaps because the crabs aren't in full season yet, but ate there 3/19 and the crab cake sandwich was meh. Wasn't the worst I have ever had, but it also was pretty far from the best. It was a shame because the atmosphere and view from this restaurant was really nice. We also had the calamari basket which was good. The portions for fries was really good. Waitstaff were great as well, very attentive. I would give them another try in the summer season. Also, be prepared for resort prices, I was OK with the food, but an iced tea was $5.Kid-friendliness: They had a decent kids menu. Good choices, not all seafood.
An excellent little waterside seafood eatery, with a great variety of seafood dishes and savory sides. The decor is unique and carefully set up to give the impression of dining by or on a seaside wharf. There is outdoor and indoor seating and it is adjacent to the Tides Inn pool so you can catch some rays while you get a drink. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are also locals and can provide information about the area and things to do so that is an extra. Highly recommended.
We sail and try to stop here often. We love to eat at Fish Hawk and relax by the pool. The crab cakes are our favorite, and the bar drinks are delicious.
Fun place, good orsters, and local seafood. It was a little pricey, but it is part of the Tides resort, so expected.
