Came to see an afternoon play. The square is equipped with a stage, games and pool tables and has an outdoor area. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive during the manning of the bar. Ordered the cheese sticks, fried mushrooms and teri hot and hot wings. You do not accept all Flat/Trommel requests that a bummer I only eat apartments. The wings were okay. What DC doesn't like about Hemingway's:
Don’t choose this place on Wednesday and Thursday nights. I came to play some pool with friends and was told by an employee that pool league began at 7:00. I planned to be done by then. While I was trying to enjoy a game with my friends, I was harassed by the local pool league people and told that I needed to hurry up so they could practice. Your chili is absolutely amazing. I always meet new friends there because everyone has a good time. I can't say enough good things about Hemingways. You have to try it yourself.
Truly a great local pub featuring live entertainment from time to time..pool tables and a friendly staff.. Sarah was great... definitely a place where you feel like they know your name..
Our favorite local music pub and grill. The prices on both drinks and food are very reasonable, and the food is fantastic for what it is. Must try the huge hand cut and breaded fried mozzarella sticks. They're the best you will find anywhere in the greater Columbia area.
Went to Hemingway's last night and a few previous times, the atmosphere is awesome, the food is great the brews are cold, and we had so much fun with the band on the outdoor patio! We will return!!
Great bar food and good atmosphere. I will definitely be back. Might be the go to place to watch some football
