Zaika - Ipswich

The restaurant has a fantastic menu with uniquely delicious vegetarian dishes. The service was great and the food was excellent. We still reminisce about how wonderful the dining experience was!

I used to live in Ipswich, and Zaika is a fantastic place to have a delicious Indian dinner. It's so good that I have been there 8 times.

What can I say differently than, it is no coincidence that every time we eat in zaika, the food and service is excellent! although abdul and kashwi have short staff during this pandemic, keep abdul and kashwi still so high standards in eating and service. Since...a lot we want that zaika comes closer to us, it's probably a good job we have a 50 miles round trip, otherwise we would be here every week. When we were here for the first time, we never ate Indian food. So if they weren't here yet, they should try not to be disappointed. many thanks abdul and kashwi for another beautiful meal x

Had not eaten here for many, many years, but when I did used to frequent it, the food was always excellent and was one of the best Indian restaurants in the town. However, on a recent visit things seemed to have gone downhill quite a...bit. First off, pappadoms which were quite greasy and smelt and tasted like they were cooked in old oil. On to mains and all of us commented that the main dishes were quite poor and generally falvourless not a patch on what they used to be. The chicken in my dish was also quite odd with a strange texture. I only ate about half before calling it a day. The nan bread I had was also dripping in grease and not very pleasant. On the plus side, the rice was good, drinks fine, and the waiters were friendly. It was the food that was the issue and we all agreed we'd certainly not be rushing back which is a shame as it used to be so good.
