Lovely restaurant with great views and good prices! Reason for 4 stars is service is always quite slow when I’ve been. I’ve been for lunch and breakfast and the food is amazing! View all feedback.
What Harald'r Bradshaw doesn't like about The Last Anchor:
Greasy Spoon with decently priced sizable portions. Be careful when ordering salmon, It's smoked on site, not cold smoked and tastes like poached salmon. Not great communication between kitchen and floor. We went when there were two big parties and we had pre-booked. Despite a few walk ins it was about half full. 50 min from sit down to getting food. Good coffee and cabin style atmosphere. Nice views of the marina. View all feedback.
Thank you for making my dad feel so special on his birthday
Delicious breakfast and a lovely spot overlooking the marina.
Had a lovelly meal here a few days ago. Perfect mix of Chicken, Lamb Kofta, salad, corn and a peppercorn sauce. Cooked perfectly and great together. Only one thing I would recommend, make your own Kofta's. Obviously shop bought Koftas, bit of a shame.
Walked in and were told someone would come to us to take our order, 30 mins pass and no one did. Then we moved inside to get their attention and still no one came to us. Meanwhile one of the chefs were helping themselves to a beer at 12:05 midday. We then finally got to order and were told they were out of coke before lunch service even began. Then when we went to order omelettes we were told that they were all out of eggs. The “Fanta” we were sold, which was orange juice and lemonade also costed £7. The staff were unhelpful, inattentive, and had lots missing on the menu. Overall a shocking experience and wouldn’t recommend
Really disappointed with the menu choice. Service poor. Some friends enjoyed their meal but others did not. Staff were not ‘au fait’ with menu.
