Good taste … very friendly
Do not recommend dining at this restaurant. Our order was incorrect and we were overcharged. The atmosphere was unpleasant and it felt like we were not welcome. The staff were arguing and the boss was yelling at a young employee in front of us. The food was terrible, with soggy fish and chips, cold mushy peas and curry sauce that seemed to have just been quickly microwaved.
Although a little bit annoyed that we had ordered earlier in the day for 745 and it was nearly 30mins late the food was exceptional. One of the best fish n chips we have had
The portion size of the large chips was decent, but everything was cold, including the chips in the middle of the pile. The fried chicken was very dry and while the serving size was decent, it was not very enjoyable. Despite the good reviews from others, I don't think I will be ordering from this restaurant again.
I enjoyed the chips, but unfortunately, I had to leave my piece of "cod" uneaten. In my 41 years of life, I have never walked away from a piece of fish before. It lacked flavor, was dry in some spots, slimy in others, and had an unusual texture. It was disappointing.
