A lovely little cafe/shop with probably (in my opinion) the best coffee in Ipswich it beats the big chains hands down.

I used to adore this restaurant, the food and ambiance were fantastic!! However, it has decline in quality. I visited this restaurant for the second time all the way from Colchester. I enjoyed the lovely relaxed atmosphere, comfortable seating, and delicious vegan coffee and vegan lemon cake.

Visited here for coffee and cake, but I declined the cake as everything on offer looked dry and stale. We sat on filthy yellow armchairs, the service was extremely slow and disorganised. I could not decide whether this was a junk shop or a cafe. There was a bottle of water on the table, which looked like the flowers had been stolen from it.! An eclectic mix of tat and more tat. A very odd place.

We made Fish Face our regular haunt several years ago because it's serves up superb coffee, cake, savoury lunches and breakfasts. It has a great atmosphere which is down to the decor and the brilliant staff who are very friendly and helpful and always up for a bit of banter when you get to know them. It has a lot of regular customers so always someone to say hi too. One special mention for the lovely Lucy who makes a cracking Double Macchiato
