What a great little place! It's truly a hidden gem in Iowa City. The venue has a pool table, which adds to the fun. The prices are very reasonable too! On Fridays, they offer a 19 oz domestic beer for just $3.00. I had the popcorn shrimp basket, and it was absolutely delicious. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Club Car:
Very protective of their parking, even before noon on a weekday. Makes me wonder what kind of clientele they cater to (and whether said clientele should really be driving). I might have given the place a try sometime, but they lost my business in the lot. View all feedback.
Staff and customers are easy to approach. Great neighborhood bar with darts and a pool table. Fun decor too.
Fantastic bar. Great value, especially with specialties. Food is fantastic considering a limited kitchen.
This one is a simple pub. The food was good, the beer was plenty. I went there on a Tuesday night which didn't seem to be their busiest night ever but, then again, these are strange pandemic times. The staff was friendly and prompt. I'll go there again.
Easy to get drinks but hard to get food. I really respect the owner though for holding a benefit for one of her waitresses who has a bad case of cancer. Suzie has a heart of gold.
