The family restaurant serves delicious and fresh soups, sandwiches, and desserts. We tried the homemade beef chili and roasted portobello salad with fresh avocado, both of which were excellent. The service was very attentive. My friend recommended this place and she was right. Make sure to come early as it gets busy quickly and parking is limited. View all feedback.

Great food BUT we’ve tried FOUR times (we live 1.5 hours away) and every time it’s closed with a sign on the door for one reason or another, even though Google says it’s open. Consistency would be appreciated. Thank you. View all feedback.
One of my favorite places in Iowa City. Not only the food is amazing, but I had the great pleasure of working with the owner a few times. My team at work wanted to order lunch for an event we had and even with short notice the owner made it work. She was so courteous and helpful! I can't express how much I love this place!
We ordered lunch and everything was wonderful! The order was simple, the delivery was on time and everything tasted great! We have different sandwich options, soup and salad, plus cookies. We wanted to support a local little business and supply your soup kitchen! Thank you for the delicious food!
One of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my entire life! The soup was phenomenal as well. The owner was very friendly and personable. Would travel the 8 hours from my home to eat there again!
Delicious! Fresh soups, sandwiches and desserts in the family restaurant. We had the homemade beef Chili and the Roasted Portobello salad with delicious fresh avocado. The cucumber water is excellent. That was the first time I was here. My friend spoke very much about it and she was right. Very attentive service. Come early as this place fills up quickly! Parking is limited.
Great chicken club sandwich. Zesty mellow homemade lemonade. Fast and friendly service. Clean tables. Free parking. What else could you ask about a lunch break? Kosher potato chips you say? Yeah, they did.
