That is my favorite place in iowa city. good beer, good food, good service. the outdoor terrace in summer is the best. I love the rotations of the beer, especially in summer. easy eddy is my beer, no matter where it goes. the menu changes occasionally, but the new supplements are always brilliant! and their fusion food never disappointed. I also got takeout from here and it's so easy to use.

I stopped here a few times when I traveled to iowa to visit family and quite honestly, even with just a few visits, this place is on my list of favorites brewing. had no bad beer here yet, and the place at this place is very good and pretty. a perfect box stop when I fly in the moines or cedar rapids and down to se iowa.

Fondue fries and a royal eddie, followed by the coconut curry, makes a wonderful meal. (and yes, if they get the fondueries, their teller will be empty before they even think about a photo to finish eating with a small shuffleboard, never hurts.

Big grove is a wonderful place to visit when it is beautiful out there! the children love to play on the big tubes and tire stacks. it is very family-friendly. you can bring your dog too! we were there yesterday and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. the only complaining is that we have ordered. the fishtacos were very dark brown and greasy..our chips for the queso were crumbling with a few good chips above. we are not who complain and eating is actually much better! I wish they had the cable sandwich in the menu!

We are on a road trip from Minnesota headed to North Carolina and Iowa city was our first stop. Came to big Grove brewery and we were not disappointed. Awesome awesome environment, and tons and tons of beers. I am a hazy drinker and my boyfriend is a sour drinker and there were plenty of both for us. The food was also great. Bartender, we sat at the bar, was Brittany and she was absolutely amazing. Super friendly and engaging and very knowledgeable about beer !! Highly recommend this brewery!
