Maggie's Farm - Iowa City

Great place. Great staff. Great food. We had a wonderful experience. And the cannolis were great. I have been looking for some place that has a cannoli and I found it. Thank you Maggie's for the wonderful experience my family had. We will be back!

I'm rating Maggie's five stars for a number of reasons. Food, drinks, atmosphere; all five stars without a doubt. However, the majority of my five stars comes from the experience and hospitality of the staff. Apparently because of some confusing shuffling, our table was ignored for a decent length of time when we first sat down. This was a little frustrating, but throughout our meal the staff more than made up for their mistake, which makes any good restaurant, a great one. Five stars all the way around.

Upon entrance we were greeted by everyone that was employed there as we were shown to our table. Our waitress was very kind and helpful when we asked questions. Our pizza was very, very good...loved the taste of the pizza sauce on the pizza!!!! Great food....fantastic employees!!!

My husband said the gluten free pizza at Maggie's is the best he's ever tasted (and he's been gluten free since 1977)! I don't know for sure, but it didn't look or taste anything like the pull out of the freezer gluten free crusts that you get at most pizza places (and which we are often grateful for). We both loved the Melrose salad the combination of tastes and textures plus the lemony dressing was outstanding. I already knew the gluten pizza was delicious. I couldn't believe that I ate the entire thing, but it was so tasty I couldn't stop myself.

Super charming, classy, yet 'hole-in-the-wall ' vibe with fabulous food and chill service. I tried the Fungi and loved the spring flavors. My friend was able to do a custom order and wasn 't charged an arm and a leg like other establishments. Pizza crust was spot-on as was our server. We were able to sneak in early, but definitely call ahead for reservations. We 're looking forward to returning soon!
