We appreciated the building's history, but were left underwhelmed by the paninis. They were small, under-grilled and not really pressed. Three service was slow and somewhere in the shuffle, 2 of the orders came out quickly and 2 orders were more than 20 minutes behind. An apology was issued for the delay and confusion. Don't get the non-dairy limon gelato. It was only ok and vaguely tasted of chemical lemon flavoring. Do try the others, which were delicious according to my friends. For those curious, yes you order at a counter and bus your own table.
