The stuffed omelette with hash browns is excellent, and their homemade pies are made from scratch! The portions are very generous, making it well worth the visit.

I chose the Caramel Apple Pie, and every single bite was absolutely delicious. Served warm, the pie was sweet, rich, and decadent. The crust was wonderfully flaky yet sturdy, and the apple pieces were cut to the perfect size—not too small, not too large. It was drizzled with a fabulous caramel sauce that took it to another level! When my breakfast arrived, I took a polite bite, but I couldn’t resist the pie and finished it all first. It was just that good! I eventually managed to have a few bites of my breakfast, which included two perfectly cooked over-easy eggs, bacon, and toast. Unfortunately, I couldn’t eat much more because I was still full from the pie, haha! Starting my breakfast with pie was a brilliant idea, and I highly recommend you do the same! I wholeheartedly endorse the Crystal Cafe!

We visited during an Iola car show weekend, and now we can't wait to go back. We even planned a weekend getaway just to enjoy their food and pie, despite living three hours away. I wish more places were as wonderful as this one. Great job—keep up the fantastic work!

We finished our meal with a warm caramel apple pie that was simply heavenly! We also sampled the peanut butter chocolate mousse pie and the cranapple pie (definitely get ice cream with that one). Both desserts were equally delicious! The service was the best we’ve ever had; our waitress was not only attentive but also hilarious! Overall, it was an absolutely wonderful experience!
