The best meal that we’ve had during this trip to Scotland. We ordered from the lunch menu and I had the pesto pasta dish as well as the shoulder of lamb, and my wife had the cod. All were delicious, well seasoned, and incredibly fresh. View all feedback.

Outstanding food. Good wine selection. Somewhat aloof and disjointed service. Had to wait a while before staff offered to take drink orders. More than one server said “I don’t take food orders”. On the 3rd try had to explicitly ask for someone empowered to take food orders. A bit odd.
Weird fusion food. Mussels not fresh or sweet at all. Sausage very greasy. Yogurt sauce like supermarket quality. Crab salad is mostly veggies, not much crab. Crab and mussels are tasteless. Very bad taste the chef.
What an experience! Before you’ve even taken a look at the menu, the welcome and service is second to none! Thoughtful, attentive and welcoming on a level I’ve never experienced. The team work between servers combined with the willingness to engage with their customers makes this place one of the best in Inverness. Warm, welcoming with an extremely high standard of food. Not to mention the BEST crème brûlée I’ve ever tasted! We can’t wait to come back!
We had an excellent dinner! Carrot and ginger soup was amazing as well as the scallops. For main dish we had venison and beef. All dishes were made with excellent ingredients and beautiful presentated. At the end we tasted the best lemon pie of my life! And I have tasted a lot around the world! Do not miss it. Service was excellent

Excellent service and they provide GF options and adapt the menu to suit your dietary requirements As soon as they knew I was GF, they brought out GF rolls and a separate tub of butter to avoid any cross contamination
I have eaten here pre celiac and its very good. I ate here recently and from a celiac point of view was very disappointed. I actually emailed my disappointment to the resteraunt as well but never got a response. Staff didn't seem to know about celiac. Menu not clear and waiter had to offer options. Dessert stlll came with a wafer which when questioned got a confused response and had to explain cc and request a new one.

Absolutely amazing restaurant! The staff is very friendly and friendly. The food is from the diagrams and is very reasonable in terms of prices. The appetizers were light and the main meals, although small, were filled. I would definitely recommend coming here.
Probably our best meal in Scotland so far! The food is simply amazing, it could not mistake a bit. Loved the scallops and chorizo starters, the Venison was so tender and melted in our mouth. The cod was flocky, everything was perfect. The waiter was so friendly and nice, great wine pairing recommendations! GREAT Service and attention to detail! And the Amaretto Sauer was delicious! Do not forget the desserts: if you have space for it, get the cheese cake!
The food on Rocpool was of high standard. The appetizers, the 4 different main dishes and the desserts we ordered were so luxuriant and deliciously tasteful that you want to go back. It's the best food I've ever tasted during my trip. The price can be on the high end, but it is worth it. Do not allow this restaurant when you are in Inverness.
Recommended by the owner of our Airbnb. She said it was her favorite and it was very good. The restaurant is beautifully furnished with excellent service. We enjoyed the dinner very much. I had the sweet potato soup and oriental chicken salad. My husband had escaped the appetizer special of tuna and the linguini. Very recommended.
Fantastic food with super friendly service. The kitchen knows how to score with creative combinations, resulting in unique dishes of the freshest quality that flatters the palate through unexpected commonality. Keep it up! Only the wine list could be a little better ; Try the venison or halibut!
