Welcome to The Innes Bar, one of the oldest licensed venues in Inverness, located conveniently near the town centre. We are a friendly local bar that prides itself on offering a warm atmosphere, accompanied by exceptional service. Whether you're in the mood for a real ale, a crafted cocktail, or anything in between, our knowledgeable staff is here to help you find the perfect drink. The history of The Innes Bar dates back to 1860, when it was officially opened by Innkeeper Mrs. Margaret Patterson. Interestingly, this pub existed for at least ten years prior to its licensing, making it a significant part of Inverness's heritage and one of its oldest bars. At The Innes Bar, we are proud to support our community and the Highlands. Be sure to check our social media for information on upcoming fundraisers that benefit fantastic local charities. Our philosophy is simple: we offer only the best food, the finest drinks, and unforgettable times. We take great pride in what we serve, ensuring that everything on our menu meets the highest standards. Whether you're in for some casual games like pool, darts, and dominoes, joining us for a lively pub quiz, or simply relaxing during one of our garden parties or live music and comedy nights, there's always something happening at The Innes Bar. Our menu showcases delicious offerings from our chef, including classic dishes such as Beer Battered Haddock, Mince and Tatties, and an array of steak options cooked to your preference. For those seeking lighter fare, we also feature scrumptious pasta dishes and vegetarian options. Recently, we were honored to win the Best Licensed Premises category at the Scottish Business Awards 2023, a testament to the hard work and dedication put in by Craig, Collette, and the entire team. Whether you're popping in for a quick snack at lunchtime, grabbing a freshly baked pizza, or enjoying a night out with friends, we offer exceptional quality and variety at great prices. We look forward to welcoming you to The Innes Bar, where every visit feels like coming home!.

I've been visiting Inverness for over a decade for a night out, and this was my first time at this bar. It has a lovely decor and plenty of space. There's a large outdoor seating area for those who smoke or want fresh air. They also have darts and a pool table. I enjoyed a nice pint, and the other patrons were friendly. I will definitely return!
The chicken, leek, and bacon pie is incredible. The atmosphere is delightful, and our host and hostess were wonderful. They also offer vegetarian options!
We had a great time with our server and enjoyed the beers. However, there was only one hand pump available, which was Old Peculiar.
First time ordering takeout from the Innes Bar. Fish chips were fantastic. Lovely crispy beer batter and generous portion of both chips and peas. Lovely taste. Add a little slice of lemon and it's perfect. Also ordered 8oz steak. Steak was cooked perfectly in line with our order. Again, generous portion of chips and nice, fresh salad coleslaw with it was lovely. Onion rings had a nice crunch too. Ordered for collection at 7pm and was met at the door. Quick transaction at the door of the premises due to covid restrictions (no bad thing) and within 10 minutes I was home with freshly hot food. Gentlemen was very polite and the food was fantastic. Might have been my first time ordering here but will not be the last. Looking forward to becoming a regular.
