Beware of false advertising and be savvy that any adverse comments are censored from the review site. The Scenic Sunrise has no inside space to offer a luggage rack nor a table for the breakfast that was served on paper plates, plastic cups and plastic utensils. You must eat outside, regardless of the temperature. There was a written request from the owners asking that the outside table not be brought inside as it might scratch the flooring. The water pressure was so low that it trickled from the facets and stunk like rotten eggs. We could not take a shower. Thank God there was a gallon of bottled water to wash our face and brush our teeth with. The water stunk so bad we had to open to the door to air out the room. We endured the first night and the horrible circumstances necessitated that we cancelled the second night. We were only offered a token refund of our 2 night stay $75). Buyer beware!

A vacation in itself! Must include time for relaxing! Stayed here overnight during a wedding weekend. It was closer to the venue than the motels in the area and so much more of an experience! Anna and her husband are not only hospitable hosts, but hosts who are proud of the business they run. They made the place themselves with expertise and attention to detail. From the “outside” shower (the bathroom isn’t connected to the cabin, but it’s fully covered, inclosed, and has electricity! to the meditation garden behind the cabin to the sitting areas and natural wood and art found within the cabin, this place transports you to your most peaceful place. Anna is a fantastic home cook—we were welcomed with homemade oatmeal cream pies and sent away with breakfast casserole! My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer :

Where to begin! Beautiful location, beautiful accommodations, fantastic and engaged hosts, Zack and Anna, wonderful breakfasts! Close enough to town to satisfy any shopping needs and secluded enough to unwind. I stayed in the Valley View cabin and highly recommend it! I want to return soon, maybe in the Spring!

This place is amazing! We stayed in the Scenic Sunrise cabin with the best view off the back porch. The hosts had little treats for us when we arrived and the breakfast was fantastic! Y'all need to stay here!

Love this little place my wife and I found for our anniversary thousand times better than any fancy motel quiet close to town. We will be staying here again even comes with breakfast.
