What John Hartman doesn't like about Amélie's French Bakery Café:
The aesthetic is quite good, and the staff was quick with our order and friendly. The food, however, was positively mediocre. Not bad, but absolutely not worth a regular stop. I ordered a croque monsiuer and it came with absolutely stone cold bechemel sauce. My daughter got the kids french toast, which was basically just sticks of dry toast with flavorless syrup. What a delightful place! Quirky yet elegantly decorated. In an old bank. Unfortunately there is only 1 person to take your order and it seems like everyone in line had questions. The food came out pretty quick and was very good. The bacon was amazing. The dark roast is pretty strong. The strawberry something lemonade was really sweet.
