Subway - Independence
Subway
Description
Tucked inside a Quickway store in Independence, LA, this sandwich spot offers a broad menu, clean cozy seating and convenient dine-in or takeout with street and rail views. Experiences are mixed: some praise friendly, professional service and decent food, while others report inattentive or rude staff, slow service, early closing and improperly heated or toasted sandwiches—making quality inconsistent for an almost $9 sandwich. Expect convenience and choice, but not guaranteed consistency.

Feedback
At times, the waitress or the person at the counter exhibits a rude attitude, rushing you out of the store without genuinely paying attention to how you want your order.
The food was decent, but the service left much to be desired. The staff wasn't very welcoming and seemed inattentive.
I specifically asked for my bread not to be toasted because it tends to get hard, but I did want my meat heated. Unfortunately, the young staff members seemed too busy chatting with each other to pay attention to my order, and as a result, the meat was served ice cold. I believe it's important for management to train employees to focus on their responsibilities, as it seems some are more interested in socializing than doing their jobs. This was honestly the worst sandwich I've ever had, and I paid nearly $9 for it.
I requested that my bread be left untoasted because it usually gets hard, but I wanted my meat heated. Unfortunately, the young staff were too busy chatting and didn’t pay proper attention to my order. As a result, my meat was served cold. Management really needs to hire employees who are attentive and take their job seriously instead of those more interested in socializing. This was the worst sandwich I’ve ever had, and I paid almost $9 for it.
