What User doesn't like about Smokehouse Barbecue Independence:
The half chicken was tough and overly chewy, requiring a lot of effort to eat. The sauce was poured generously over a full plate of ribs, but the beef was extremely undercooked and tough, resembling jerky. For the amount we spent, we were very disappointed. View all feedback.
Had a reservation for three at 6 PM. It was very busy, but we were seated immediately. Our server was very attentive and provided excellent service. Our experience at this location of Smokehouse was definitely superior.
This is a fantastic spot for BBQ! I was really impressed with my meal; the food was perfectly cooked, not cold, and just right in seasoning. The portion sizes offer great value for the price! The sauces are decent too. The service here is excellent. Be sure to check out RILEY at the bar—she's absolutely outstanding and incredibly friendly! Food: 5/5.
We were in town for the weekend and stopped in for lunch. We had the pulled pork, spare ribs, baby back ribs and pork burnt ends. Tender, meaty and large portions and very tasty! Our server( didn’t get his name -darn) was fantastic!
Our waiter was fantastic. He made our meal very enjoyable. Some of the gals in our group of 5 said their food was very good. Mine, I felt was only mediocre bbq.
This was a fantastic stop on our way home! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. I particularly enjoyed sitting beneath a stained glass window—what a beautiful touch!
