I absolutely loved El Cerro Grande! Our 11-year-old grandson recommended this place, and it didn't disappoint. The service was outstanding, and the food was excellent. We had a wonderful dinner experience. The price per person was between $30 and $50. Highly recommend! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Cerro Grande:
I wish I could give it a zero. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to in my life. The prices are outrageous and the service was very poor. This is the worst place for dinner. I strongly recommend you head up the road to Rio Grande or pull a U-turn to El Jinete. View all feedback.
This place was great. Stopped in while passing through and got a burrito/wrap, chicken with boom boom sauce. Really tasty, And they way he grills it makes it easy to eat when driving. Owner was super nice as well. Highly recommend it.
Things have changed since my last post. We still eat here several times a week. Sunday we dined with six friends. The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful. The language barrier is growing smaller. Our server brought our drinks without even asking what we wanted. We were served with a huge smile. She also surprised us with the veteran discount without us asking. I had stopped asking many visits ago. Everything was perfect. Thank you!
Great food, exactly what you expect from a good Mexican restaurant. Getting our check was a little slow, took about 15 minutes after we were done eating. Overall great experienceFood: 5/5
We used to love this place. Love Danny and Manny However, we came tonight for our friends birthday and although the wait staff was trying their best. The food was not as good as it normally is and we waited 35 min for our beer. Not the waitresses fault she was to young to serve. She was waiting on the only person that could pour and serve the beer. I don’t know what going on. But Danny and Manny please please come back.
Food is decent, but expensive. AND THE PORTIONS ARE SMALL…. I ordered two meals each $17.99 and a kids meal that was $8.99. Portions were small and they gave me one small cup of salsa for 3 meals. When I asked for more they told me no. I said when you dine in you get more than that small cup and he said well that’s the perks of dining in. Ridiculous. They’re charging me $18 a meal the least they can do is give more salsa
