Church's Texas Chicken - Independence

Great service. Got my food fast and it was hot. I think the grease was old though. Other than that good service

Always good fried chicken and you can get okra too. I ordered spicy and got home and it was regular but it's good enough that it really didn't matter.

Absolutely the BEST fast food chicken in Independence, Mo. I've been eating this Church's chicken since I was a kid.. Always consistent..

Better than KFC, Popeyes, Zaxby's, Chester's and Canes in my opinion. I know everyone has their favorites but, when you have to travel at least 30 miles in one direction (East) and 45+ miles to the west you decide what chicken is worth the drive! Churches is it! The 1st time I had it was at Biloxi, MS in 1976 when I was in AF Technical school and again in 1980 for AF Air Traffic Control school.

I work for DoorDash, and it’s much faster for me to go inside the lobby to pick up food instead of waiting in a car line of cars for a drive-through. I showed up for an order at 7 o’clock and the doors were locked to the lobby. Covid was two years ago almost 3 years ago. It’s time that place is like this keep their lobby doors open. Absolutely ridiculous.
