We knew of this place for a while, but the opening hours never fitted with our plans. I’m delighted we have finally managed to eat here during our stay this time round. We’ve agreed that this place was the best and had the testiest food we’ve eaten during our holiday, and therefore changed our plans to eat here again before we headed back home. It is a small place near a roundabout with a parking lot outside. The menu has one option each day and changes every day. Note this is a lunch menu Monday to Friday only . It consists of a starter usually soup , main and a dessert. The first time round we got there about 1pm, we had robi gyros čína with rice and yogurt tzatziki dressing, sadly everything else was sold out. We were advised to make a reservation next time just in case as usually they sell out. Amazing, right?! So the following week we reserved the menu over their FB page the night before. We had a celeriac soup, chana masala, and an apricot cake. Everything was absolutely delicious and I wish I ordered more portions for later. Even my non vegan family munched on it and commented how nice it was. I normally take pictures for the reviews, but this was so delicious that I completely forgot! I have uploaded a menu from their FB page, hope this is ok. The food is fresh every day and clearly made with love. So tasty and balanced, I can’t wait to eat here again. The owner and the ladies who work there are incredibly friendly and helpful. They make everyone feel so welcome, always have smiles on their faces and even during busy periods manage to have friendly chats with customers. I was so impressed by this place that upon my return from holiday I’ve emailed the owner kindly asking for the recipe for the celeriac soup. And I got it! The owner said he’s always happy to share the recipes with anyone who asks so the vegan love is spread. I can’t wait to return o Slovakia and especially to this little gem. I'd like to come back!
