The fish and chips were made... read more I believe they might be closing down or will do so shortly. They were sold out of menu items and drinks like Sprite and Dr. Pepper. The fish and chips were made with deep fried salmon, and the side of daily veggies was disappointing. The pasta with marinara sauce was inferior. It felt as though we were on a TV show where a celebrity chef comes out of the kitchen to ask about the old menu.

Upon being seated for lunch, we were informed that several staff members had not shown up for work. We anticipated some delays, but waiting 1 1/2 hours for fish and chips was excessive. It seems like this is a recurring issue based on other reviews. Many customers left due to the long wait and were confronted about payment on their way out. After finishing our meal, I left cash for the meal and a generous tip for the struggling staff as we did not want to wait any longer for the bill. Despite this, the waitress still approached me about paying for the meal. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

It's disappointing because the restaurant has a great atmosphere and setting, but they clearly need more staff. It's unrealistic to expect one person to handle everything for the entire restaurant.

We expected some delay, but 1 1... read more I tried this place in Idylwild. After arriving and sitting for lunch, we learned that a number of employees were unable to work. We expected some delay, but 1 1/2 hours for fish and chips was a bit much. Sounds from the reviews that this is not an isolated problem. Many males left while we were there were fed with waiting. They were accelerated on the way through payment. After I finished our meal and didn't want to wait another hour for our bill, I just left cash for the meal and a generous tip for the fighting staff. Nevertheless, I was still faced by the waitress about the payment of the meal. We will not return to this institution!
