What ThamesLondon doesn't like about Cafe Le Duc:
A pleasant enough spot by the church in the centre of the village, with views to the sea (for a stunning outlook, go to the war memorial just the other side of the church). But the staff are as surly as they are slow, they don't take credit cards,and the food when it does limp into sight is indifferent. And expensive. View all feedback. Great bar no sign of food in spite of the name, but maybe we've called in at the wrong time. However, unlike many of the previous reviewers, I found the staff waiting on table to be more than friendly, showing patience with my pathetic French, indulging our odd requests (even a longe/grand cafe noir comes in a small cup half full everywhere) and happily accepting us eating food bought at the boulangerie next door. Pleasant terrace overlooking the sea and the village church. Very kind server.
Nice in the morning for the kf and relax in the evening for the rosé. sisters are effective for service.

Good tuna salad and tasty bruschetta, for which we were grateful at 3pm. Definitely take in the view from the war memorial before you leave the village.
