Rusty Taco - Hurst
Rusty Taco
Description
At this lively Texas taqueria, inventive tacos and standout sides share space with uneven execution and steep prices. Cauliflower, shrimp, fish and breakfast tacos earn high praise alongside chips, queso and street corn, while some beef, brisket and steak offerings — plus cold or tough corn tortillas — disappoint. Service is friendly and the sun‑protected, dog‑friendly patio is a major perk. Frozen margaritas divide opinion. Expect quick, casual dining with generous portions but occasional inconsistencies in drink and taco quality.

I had a delightful breakfast of street tacos. The staff was friendly and service was quick. I sampled the steak, brisket, bacon, jalapeno sausage, and bacon breakfast street tacos. Each taco was topped with eggs, cheese, and the meat of choice. The steak also included grilled peppers and onions. Everything was delicious, but the brisket was my favorite. I highly recommend it!
I had a fantastic time enjoying drinks with my best friend. We were catching up and decided to share some nachos, followed by a taco as a snack while we waited for the rain to let up. They also offer small cups of hot sauce, so if you're craving something spicy, you'll have plenty of options. I highly recommend this delightful place!
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was fantastic, and the margaritas were even better—definitely a highlight! The service was attentive, and our meals arrived in a timely manner. While the tacos are a bit on the pricey side, I still enjoyed my visit overall.
Absolutely amazing! I loved the street corn, queso, and the taco with egg, cheese, and sausage. The jalapeño watermelon margarita was incredible! The manager was very friendly and offered excellent recommendations. You won't want to miss this fantastic taco spot!
