The exterior has an old-fashioned charm that feels inviting, and the interior has a warm and friendly atmosphere, attracting a diverse range of patrons, particularly older generations. Our server, Jenny, was fantastic—very helpful, friendly, and quick to ensure we had everything we needed. I ordered a latte while my girlfriend opted for a regular coffee. Both drinks were good, though the latte could have benefited from a bit more flavor. I went for the Brookside Scramble with a biscuit, with jalapeños added for a kick. My girlfriend had the Two Egg Breakfast done over medium and also ordered a Belgian Waffle. Both our scramble and her eggs were delicious, though the Belgian Waffle could have been improved. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxed breakfast experience.
Delicious food and outstanding service! The meals were prepared quickly and just as I ordered. Although it's a small establishment with a cozy dining area, it feels inviting. The staff made a noticeable effort to keep the tables clean between customers. I enjoyed the omelette, pancakes, country fried steak with eggs, and hash browns—everything was excellent!
The pancakes were some of the best I've ever tasted—I'm not sure if they use a special ingredient, but they were fantastic! I also appreciated the option of turkey bacon. My husband ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and said both it and the fries were delicious. It's a charming little spot, although quite small!
First time visiting: I was greeted right away upon entering and had the option to choose my seat. It was fairly quiet at first, but soon enough, many people arrived. Steven, my server, was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. My food came out quickly, and the flavors were fantastic. I ordered the steak omelet, which came with two buttermilk pancakes — everything was fresh. The salsa on the side tasted homemade, although it might not have been. It was so delicious! The receipt had a QR code for payment, but I couldn't get it to work. From the outside, the building didn’t look like much, but I'm glad I decided to give it a try. I will definitely return when I'm back in town.
This restaurant offers first-class quality food at local diner prices, making it a fantastic brunch choice. They have an impressive selection of specialty waffles that are absolutely delicious. The bacon was perfectly crispy, and the eggs were cooked just right. Despite having signs indicating that they were short-staffed, the service was excellent. However, the ambiance inside the restaurant felt a bit cluttered, with a variety of signs that made it hard to navigate. On a positive note, the lighting was good, and the bathrooms were clean.
