Whiskey Taco - Hurricane
Whiskey Taco
Description
Set in a charming, uniquely decorated space, this remote, must-stop eatery serves consistently excellent Tex‑Mex—especially tacos, burritos, beans and rice—and a standout guacamole. Portions are generous, prices fair, and service is friendly and attentive, making it a favorite regular stop. Minor flaws include occasional bar cleanliness issues, underseasoned salsas and missing table salt, but overall the dining experience is lively, satisfying and highly recommended.

The food was incredible, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the decor was really unique. There was such a great variety that I had a hard time choosing! I ended up trying three different tacos: Korean, chicken with crema, and al pastor, and each one was delicious. Even their beans and rice were amazing, but the tacos—oh, the tacos!
The food was delicious, and the decor was charming. However, the salsa and guacamole needed a bit more salt, and unfortunately, there were no salt or pepper shakers on the table. I also ordered a mole sauce with my enchiladas, but they served me red sauce instead, and there wasn’t much of it. Despite these issues, I had a generally positive dining experience.
The atmosphere is fantastic with plenty of options available. The tacos were quite good, though not the best I've ever tasted. However, if you find yourself in this remote location, it's definitely worth a stop. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Very cool environment. Large signature dishes. Had the Burrito and I loved him. The Tortilla reminded me of the soft tortillas in some pretty well-known tex mex restaurants. Cheese dive was delicious. Service was excellent and attentive.
