How... read more We don 't eat at Barnyard BBQ very frequently due to the fact we live on the eastern edge of Charleston it 's a bit of a travel distance just to go eat out. However, whenever we are in Teays Valley we enjoy going there find the food is usually very good.Hubs I enjoy both the pulled pork the brisket sandwiches alot. They 're not dry but also not swimming in a spicy BBQ sauce like some other places serve. The homemade potato chips are thick crisp, and the dill pickle is a real mouth-puckerer! The sweet tea is usually good, although it could be a little bit stronger impo. From what I 've seen of other people 's plates, all the food looks equally good portions are a good size. Next time we visit, I think I 'll try the smoked chicken salad, which looked huge delicious!As far as the service goes, we 've never had any problems either getting seated where we prefer OR getting served our food. One of the current online reviews complains about being seated at a table too near the kitchen window hearing arguments among the kitchen staff. Well, speak up if you 're not happy with your seating location or your food... don 't just suffer in silence and then piss 'n moan pout about it online later!! We 've always found the staff more than willing to relocate us to a quieter spot or do whatever was necessary to rectify any problems with our food selections. Parking: Parking at the front door with an additional parking lot around back. Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of available space with moveable tables that can be rearranged as necessary.

The red skin potato salad was exceptional. We also picked the pull pork nachos, baked beans, coleslaw, and fries they were all really good. It smelled so good when it came to our table that I forgot to get pics.I highly recommend a stop by this place if you get the chance

The brisket was good, but it was very dry (could have just been this visit). I will say the amount of food for the price is amazing. They do notskimp serving sizes. It's well worth a visit.

But the only thing that was perfect was the Sweet Tea. 2 apps their nachos was like eating a stale salad. If everything there issmoked then it needs to be in alot longer. The chicken tastes like it's been up for a couple days. Tried the potato wedges withcheese and bacon. It was too earthy it almost tasted like they pulled it out the ground and let it set for weeks and thenmicrowaved it with cheese and bacon bits. Didn't even get past the first bite. Ordered the combo with pulled pork and brisket.And was just blown away that the brisket looked like shredded pot roast with BBQ sauce. Was absolutely not good at all. Commingfrom a place where BBQ is at its best and this wasn't it. A $40 tab and all the main entre went in the trash. At the next gasstation. THIS PROBALLY RUINED MY APPERTITE for the rest of the day. Nothing personal but did I mention I liked the server. Shewas very nice and the setting was okay I likes the fish tank in the wall it was a sight to see.
