Lonny Boy's Bbq - Hurricane

This restaurant used to be excellent, but now it seems to have followed the trend of every other dining establishment in Hurricane, Utah. Just average.

My party visited the restaurant for dinner on a Thursday evening. We were seated promptly with minimal wait time. The person taking our order was friendly and provided detailed explanations of the menu, which was very helpful. Our food arrived quickly, but unfortunately, one of our orders was incorrect. The situation escalated unnecessarily when trying to rectify the mistake. The waitress mentioned that the AC was not functioning properly, so we requested the ceiling fans be turned on due to the stuffy environment. However, the waitress was dismissive and borderline rude. After relocating to a cooler area, we overheard the waitress gossiping about our complaints, which was unprofessional. Despite the poor service, the food was delicious with high-quality meat. Despite the service issues, we would still recommend this restaurant.

The meat was dry, the Mac and cheese was soupy, and none of the food had that smoky flavor characteristic of good BBQ. I was not impressed and would not return. I even chatted with another couple outside who also found the meat to be dry and the prices to be too high. It was not true BBQ, more like something you would find at Arby's.

The food was horrible, the cornbread was very dry, the brisket wasn't good at all, the service was absolutely amazing though, food was disgusting neither way.

The food was delicious. The restaurant is really unique. Overall, I really liked Lonny Boy's
