Kimchi stew had good focus on kimchi's spicy flavor, but it also had annoying unfiltered pork smell. I think it should be a fair choice for those who live nearby and also for those who crave Korean foods while traveling. But I didn't like it to the extent that I'd be willing to revisit. I probably had too high expectation after reading Koreans' reviews about this restaurant. I had kimchi stew, and it tasted okay with the moderately spicy taste of kimchi and a slightly sweet taste that seemed to come from the onions. However, it smelled a bit like pork, and the rice had a unique feel, like a mixture of nasi goreng and Korean-style brown rice, so it was a bit unfamiliar. I think it could be a good option for nearby residents and Koreans looking for Korean food while traveling. But after reading the rave reviews from other Koreans, I guess my expectations were a bit too high. Even if I have to travel nearby again, I don't think I would necessarily want to come again.
