Was on a business trip with an associate and decided to have dinner here. Their seemed to be some challenges with service and check out, however I had the haddock; and it was very good. My associate had the catfish and he was very pleased. Thank you. View all feedback.
What Lander Thiry doesn't like about Cracker Barrel Old Country Store:
Average wait for a table. Approximately 30 minutes for Sunday lunch. Our server had way too many tables. She was doing a good job. But she was constantly playing catch up. Meanwhile, the manager was standing in the galley in everyone's way. Food was below average. Sausage has a very chemical taste. Sweet tea was terrific. Pot Roast was really good. View all feedback.
We had a great experience at this Cracker Barrel. Julia was our server and she was FANTASTIC! Very attentive, nice, and personable. The service was fast, the food was great and it made for a great evening.
Everything was great, except we signed up for cracker Barrel rewards and was told we would receive a code for a free appetizer. The code never arrived to email. Another guest in our party signed up as well, and they never got their code for their free appetizer either. Seems like the free appetizer never comes when signing up rewards.
Went there today. Sat at our table for 45 minutes after ordering. Got our ice water’s and waited for our food with great anticipation. The ice in our drinks melted completely and got up and asked a manager ? about our order. She said it would be out in 4 minutes. Eight minutes later we walked out. The WORST experience we’ve ever. We are Cracker Barrel people and have enjoyed eating there for 25 years but this one in Huntsville is in a bad decline. We are not complainers normally but I’m doing this in hopes that somebody will do something about this. Drake avenue avenue location is poorly managed!
Corn bread was hard as hockey pucks mashed potatoes had no real flavor needed butter or mayo or cream in them when they were made meatloaf was good, Cod was good, brocolie, and slaw good greenbeans did not have the meat in them bacon or ham bits and flavor
I started to leave because the rating was 85. I have left before because the rating was 74. Use to you have to wait up to 30 minutes or longer. Not true now. I always get breakfast.
