What User doesn't like about Stain Cafe Hunters Hill:
Must try when in the area. You are greeted with warm and friendly service. This is rare now in Sydney. Coffee freshly made by barista who is a fanatic with the correct grind. Food fresh ingredients fresh organic eggs that are organic. Bacon that is not full of fat and muffins warm and out of the oven. This is the place to hang out and chill in Hunters Hill..! The restaurant offers delicious food and coffee in a pleasant, clean suburban setting. The Egg Benedict dish is decent. The "hipster brekky" is a combination of various seeds and ingredients that don't complement each other well. However, the beef sandwich is flavorful and their fries are exceptional.
I went to this restaurant for Saturday breakfast and had a great experience. The coffee was excellent and the food was pretty good as well. Despite being short-staffed, the service was still quick. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!
We visited this restaurant for breakfast on Mother's Day, and we all enjoyed a fantastic meal. Despite being busy, the service was excellent thanks to the wonderful staff. The bacon and egg roll was the best we've ever had, and the Mother's Day special ricotta hotcakes were beautifully presented and delicious. The prices were also very reasonable, so we will definitely be coming back.
The food was delicious and the serving sizes were great. But the five stars is largely for incredible service. I came here with my family for Mother’s Day they had set up a lovely special breakfast menu with vases of roses and champagne. But this small café accommodated us, a large group of 11 adults and six children, who all ordered dishes that weren’t on special menu and basically were as chaotic as you could imagine a large group like that being. They did so always with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. I was really impressed.
Stopped by for brunch with the family on Easter weekend on the way to Woolwich. We ordered the Stains Beef Burger with Beer Battered Chips Poached Eggs and Wild Field Mushroom on Sourdough 'The Refresher ' fresh squeezed juice and was extremely happy with our choice. Delicious! Staff were very friendly and provided excellent service, even kindly accommodating our pram without making a fuss and made us feel very welcomed. Place had great decor and comfortable seats.
