Great sushi place in a remote place. The sushi is very homemade. I always come back here for lunch.
This had to be one of the best spicy tuna sushi I've had! Arigato! Came here on a Monday, glad I did even though the sign said they were open on the weekends or some other day (I forgot) but please change that! I would've never wandered there lol this place is located upstairs at Hunter Mountain lodge eating area. Prices are decent. And the portion was just enough. Enjoy!
After a great morning run, you 're ready to eat just about anything for lunch. I decided to check out Sushi Hunter, located upstairs at Hunter Mtn ski lodge. I have to admit, the place didn 't look too appealing and I was turned off by how outdated the place looked. As I was waiting on line, contemplating whether I should eat here or not, this little boy said, to his friends, OMG, this is sooooo good . After hearing that, I ordered myself a spicy tuna roll and edamame. I would have ordered more but ran out of cash. Bummer that they only take cash. My 8-pc tuna roll was $7 and the large order of edamame was $7. The price was reasonable for a ski resort. The spicy tuna roll was topped with scallions and it was Spicy . I would have to say, it was the best spicy tuna roll ever. They got the spicy in the tuna roll and the scallions on the roll made it even better. I 'm glad I gave this place a shot and didn 't walk away from some delicious sushi. Now my weekend is over, back at work writing this review, and thinking of eating a spicy tuna roll from Sushi Hunter. This place deserve more great reviews than this. Food photo was half eaten before I took the picture. Sorry, I was hungry.
