What Heidi Leib doesn't like about Voget Meats, Inc.:
Brought in seventy pounds of waterfowl to have made into pepperoni sticks and summer sausage. They got the flavoring and texture right but the packaging was the worst I’ve seen. Summer sausage had one layer of paper wrapped around it and pepperoni was packaged in a loose plastic bag with a twist tie. None of it adequate for freezing. We went to Voget Meats on a whim of a craving to make a German Sausage dinner. It was early so we picked up a couple of bags of their mini breakfast sausage links. We usually settle for that mass produced link breakfast sausage and when we have gotten breakfast sausage links at other meat markets it is usually to overdone with spices(especially sage).
