Good and service was really good, not outstanding as would be suggested by the price of the meal (read HIGH!! . Atmosphere was charming. Good very interesting. The only knocks o have are the exorbitant price and the stuffy and quite forced “yacht rockradio” accents These were clearly fake and totally unnecessary.
We went here back around Valentines day 2022 with some friends. When entering the place smelled like a barn, to find out that it was the charred fish skin. Every plate was sub par and we all agreed that the wine did not pair. The dessert was likesomething from 1990 and was not good. Total per couple with a tip was over $500 and we were sorely disappointed. I gave 2stars because the service was great. We do not understand who is giving this place these high ratings they must be mostly fake. Remember to only read the bad reviews, this time I went against that and will never do that again.
Great tasting menu and wine selection. The dishes were artfully presented and excellently prepared. The menu changes often so keep an eye on it. The portions are small but it was an 8 course meal so you will not walk away hungry.
One of our favorite restaurants in Yamhill wine Country! 5 star service and beyond good culinary adventures. I can’t get over how good the miso soup is and so glad it’s been on their menu for so long. Make reservations cause they get booked!
This restaurant is set in an old two-story house, which looks very cute and old-fashioned, like something out of a fairy tale. The house is very well taken care of, with a cozy and charming interior featuring comfy chairs. The waiters are impeccably dressed and highly professional. We enjoyed an 8-course meal with preselected seasonal dishes, each accompanied by a predefined selection of wines, some of which were locally made in the nearby town of Dundee. The waiter explained each dish, clearly proud of what they were serving. The portions were small, as you would expect from such a place, but each one was delicious. Every meal was masterfully crafted and beautifully plated. My favorite was the Miso Custard with Dungeness crab, which had an excellent flavor and texture. Overall, I loved the experience, though I found it a bit overpriced.
