I met a colleague for breakfast at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. It's a convenient option for a quick bite before or after a conference at the GRB Convention Center. View all feedback.
What JenniferM doesn't like about Walker St.-Houston Marriott Marquis:
The restaurant had a live music quartet playing loud jazz/blues at 10:30 am. The music was so loud that people had to shout to have a conversation. The breakfast and the food as a whole were good. in order to note, although I have a reservation by opentable, confirmed the reservation on the day before and was in the system when I arrived, but was told by the hostess that they did not make reservations. the place was empty so they could take up my party, but I would suggest to ensure their reservation is actually taken.
The hostess and our waiting staff were very friendly, attentive and appealing. we always eat here when we stay in marquis!
It was not aware that the restaurant no longer accepted reservations from open table. they took us and were aware that we booked online. only the option was buffet. that is not possible, but the cook to order the entry station was amazing!
A business partner to the breakfast. the staff was very attentive and the food was good. easier place to get in and out at a conference in the grb convention center.
A pretty solid spot for lunch, spacious inside a hotel. comfortable and reasonable prices.
