this place is from this world! grew up with my vater homebrew and win awards at bluebonnet and other brew competitions I have become a beacon and not many local places have the choice that the industry has. I'm in the beer-snob-houlder when I go. also through the cooking school I have to eat a big one. eating is amazing! we literally had everything on the menu, except for the vegitarian, and I was never even told. th... What User doesn't like about The Branch:
It seems like someone really injected some personality into this bar! The food is excellent, and the establishment is very clean, attracting the right crowd. However, it felt like no one was having a good time. The music was playing softly and was limited to old Elvis Presley tunes, which felt out of place for a weekend, especially with a younger clientele in their 30s. Found this place on his website. It didn't say anything about being closed from the business). So we drove up and the place is closed. What a waste of time! The site might have mentioned it, do you think? No stars because I was wasting my time and getting my gas there. Ends up to a small Greek place nearby. It doesn't look like the food is decent. So don't waste your time with The Branch, it's gone!
Honestly questioned why I was going to eat there. It wasn't the best to look at, but they proved you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. The food and service were great. I had the chicken fried steak and it was delicious as were the fried pickles and chips and salsa.
Spicy Ketchup!! What?! Amazing and huge brownie points!! Everything is amazing and will be back many times.
When you visit this neighborhood gem, make sure you order the Magic Frozeen Macheen drink. I had the Dr. pepper Milkshake and it was so dang delicious!
Food was good and so was the atmosphere. Service was also good. I find it a bit pricey. 45 bux for lunch is steep. I'd go back, but only during happy hour.
