What Paola T doesn't like about Roatan Cafe Grill:
Came upon this place while looking onlineFor Pollo con tajadas and was surprised to find a Honduran restaurant so close by. The food was good, got the chicken breast, the portion was small considering that I paid $28 for two orders which is confusing because it's supposed to be $10.99 a plate. I imagine they maybe haven't updated the menu. The banana was good love the sauce and the broth. Wish they added more sauce t... View all feedback.

This place is a joke I place my order an hour ahead and when I got there food wasn't ready, they said I got to wait for another 10 minutes it was raining Ladies in the back were just laughing about it ???? I only get 30 minutes lunch so I couldn't wait longer. so I had to walk away without food. Very disappointed right now and I don't think I'll be back to the place ever.
Food was delicious. I really don't want to blame the wait staff because she does not control the kitchen food was extremely slow to arrive. Take was great but 2 hours with only 1 additional table thats a bit too slow and any level. Nope don't wann here its fresh cooking. I can get my meals for 7 of us out in 30 minutes at home. Hard to go back with service thats that slow. Tv was too loud
I never been there but a friend ate here at the roatan grill , I was told that him and his family went there expecting Roatan Caribbean food and they were disappointed to find no Roatanean food.Instead they got Hondurean Latin food, not Roatanean Caribbean food.If you walk in to a Roatanean restaurant am expecting Caribbean culture food facts!.If you want Chinese food I go to a Chinese restaurant. If you want Indian food you go to a Indian restaurant. F if I want American food I go to a fast food burger restaurant. But if I walk into this restaurant looking some Caribbean food I won’t find it only the name is from the Caribbean.I can’t ask my gram mother to make me Baliada’s and Pupusas she can’t it’s not a Caribbean delicacy. We get it using the name for publicity is a good move. You’ll acting like you don’t know we’re Roatan is located it’s in the Caribbean not on the main land of Honduras.Have a blessed day and enjoy them Baliada’s.
First off there was no type of air circulation. My new born was going crazy due to how hot it was inside. I ordered a plátano relleno and there was barely any meat. When I went to the front desk and told them, The cook in the back screamed out that she put meat but if we want more we have to order it. The server was really nice and accommodated us. Also, they charged an automatic gratuity of 15% even tho i wasn’t content at all.Never coming here again which is sad cause i’m from Honduras and I love supporting my peoples business.
